David BORDES (born in 1965), "Sister Andréina and the ex-voto of Yves Klein, Cascia", 1999. Photograph. Color print mounted on aluminium, signed, titled, dated and numbered 2/20 in ink on the back. Framed. 43 x 59 cm. This photograph shows Sister Andréina, in the convent of Saint Rita in Cascia, holding in her hands the ex-voto offered by Yves Klein, which was rediscovered in 1980, and is still kept in the convent. Yves Kein, lacking inspiration at the time, sought support from St. Rita, venerated as the patron saint of desperate cases.
